Biogasaccessen facilitates the work of buyers and/or consumers of Swedish biogas by displaying available biogas volumes in Sweden, both for liquefied biogas (LBG) and compressed biogas (CBG).
All biogas registered on Biogasaccessen is accompanied by clear documentation regarding CI score, properties, and information about substrates, etc., giving buyers the opportunity to tailor their orders according to their needs at any given time.
The purpose of Biogasaccessen is to drive the development of biogas transactions forward for all stakeholders, thereby promoting continued positive growth for Swedish biogas.
From Production to Customer
Through investment support from the EU and Sweden, a growing base of small and medium-sized biogas producers has been established. By 2030, they are expected to account for a significant share of Sweden’s biogas production, often using manure as feedstock and delivering maximum climate benefits as a result.
The challenge is that many producers lack a commercial platform for selling their biogas. The risk is that climate-beneficial biogas does not reach the market and therefore does not replace fossil alternatives.
